The HPH Top Prospects League delivered another entertaining matchup Monday night as the Chasin’ Turkeys and IceLine Consulting skated to a 4-4 draw at Carleton Place Arena.

Despite the game ending even on the scoreboard, the Turkeys controlled much of the offensive play, generating 31 shots on goal and consistently applying pressure throughout the night. IceLine, however, received a stellar performance from goaltender J. Howell, whose 27 saves helped his club secure a valuable point.
Leading the charge for the Turkeys was Cruz Kostuch, who recorded two goals and an assist in a dominant offensive performance. Will Gray added a goal and an assist of his own, while Cole McLelland contributed two helpers. Deklan Marks also found the back of the net as the Turkeys showcased the offensive depth that has made them one of the league’s most dangerous teams.
IceLine refused to go away.

Adamo Ghantous and Hunter McKnight each finished with a goal and an assist, helping the visitors capitalize on their opportunities despite being outshot nearly two-to-one. Ramsey Stretch continued his strong season with two assists, while Brady Barnes and Preston Charron also scored for IceLine.
The game featured momentum swings throughout, with neither team able to create much separation. Every time one side appeared ready to take control, the other responded with a timely goal.
While the Turkeys will likely feel they left a point on the table after controlling the shot clock and creating the majority of the scoring chances, IceLine can take confidence from their resilience. Howell’s performance in goal gave his team a chance to stay within striking distance all night, and the group capitalized on enough opportunities to earn the draw.
With the playoff race tightening and every point becoming increasingly valuable, Monday night’s matchup felt like another important step toward what should be an exciting finish to the season.
