BIG Outlasts IceLine in 17-Goal Thriller
The HPH Top Prospects League continued Friday night with one of the most Offense fueled games of the season, as BIG Insurance Group escaped with a 9-8 victory over IceLine Consulting.
BIG came out firing early and never seemed to take their foot off the gas offensively. Leading the charge was Alex McLean, who put together a dominant performance with four goals and three assists for a seven-point night. McLean’s ability to create offense every time he touched the puck proved to be the difference in a game where goals came in bunches.
BIG also received strong contributions throughout their lineup. Joel Mullen recorded a goal and two assists, while Reid Harper and Cole McLelland each added a goal and an assist. Hunter Robitaille and Nicko Beckett chipped in with goals of their own as BIG showcased impressive offensive depth.
Despite trailing for much of the contest, IceLine refused to go away.

Spencer Bowes and Jeremy Schoenborn led the attack with three points apiece, each scoring twice and adding an assist. Landon Wright and Declan Lapointe both found the back of the net twice, helping IceLine stay within striking distance throughout the game.
As the clock wound down, IceLine pulled their goaltender and were rewarded with a late goal to cut the deficit to 9-8, setting up a dramatic finish. With momentum on their side and pressure mounting, IceLine pushed for the equalizer, but BIG managed to hold on through the final seconds to secure the victory.
The win keeps BIG rolling as they prepare for a marquee matchup against the red-hot Chasin’ Turkeys squad, while IceLine will look to regroup and get back into the win column when they face Apex Hockey on Monday.
If this game was any indication, fans can expect plenty more excitement as the HPH Top Prospects League season continues to heat up.
